My name is Maete Porto, a Brazilian Graphic Designer who is in love with patterns and surface design. I love everything about Surface Pattern Design, from creative process all the way to teaching others. I am a Surface Patterns Designer that makes drawings for surfaces like textiles, wallpapers, decoration objects, paper goods, etc. I transform stories in designs by using the inspirational universe in my imagination and translating them into patterns.

My work also reflects a lot of my lifestyle. Each designer has their special “touch” in the art of creating. The values I believe will be shown on my patterns. I have a profound connection with nature, and I love doing yoga. Animals inspire me a lot and I highly value family and people around me. I am also determined, persistent and positive. When I believe in something, I go for it.
